Catalyst exists for students to BELONG and FOLLOW, and we have a couple ways to do that.
Students meet on Wednesday’s at 7pm for a Bible Study.
We also meet together at 6pm on Sunday Nights for a worship service (hangout time, games, worship, and preaching). We believe the Bible is a unified story that all points to Jesus, so we learn the story together to see who Jesus is, what He teaches, and how/why we FOLLOW Him.
Also, Catalyst Events happen once a month. We encourage students to BELONG through our events like going to trampoline parks, going paintballing, sledding, or on Cedar Point trips! Sometimes we separate Middle School and High School or sometimes we all go together! If you are interested in getting updated on all things youth related including services and events, text the keyword “MSPARENT” for middle school parents or “HSPARENT” for high school parents to (440) 493-1449. For middle school students text “MSSTUDENT” and for high school students text "HSSTUDENT" to (440) 493-1449.

Meet the High School Pastor
Pastor Matt Crow
Pastor Matt has been working at Harvest Ridge since May 2018 but he has been going to the church for his whole life. He enjoys many hobbies but his favorites are sports (soccer, volleyball, basketball, golf and swimming), videogames, traveling, and trying new foods! He loves hiking and adventuring with his wife and the most beautiful place he has ever seen is Santorini, Greece. His favorite thing about being a youth pastor is “Seeing students grow in their knowledge and relationship with God, bonding over crazy experiences with the students, and of course…. CAMP!”
Meet the Middle School Pastor
Pastor Steve Archer
Pastor Steve, along with his wife Erika and their five children, has been a part of our Harvest Ridge family since 2022. He often spends his free time in the outdoors backpacking, fishing, and hiking. He also loves board games and video games with family and friends.
Steve likes crafting unique items from scrap wood and metal. Always eager to explore, he enjoys visiting new places and trying new experiences, especially indulging in his favorite, Japanese cuisine.
Most rewarding in his role as a Middle School Pastor is the opportunity to connect with students—learning about their lives and guiding them in deepening their faith. He loves witnessing students worship and pursuing a closer relationship with God.
