“Everything we do at Harvest Ridge Church is fueled by a desire to see more people come to know Jesus personally. Kingdom Builders is the perfect opportunity for you to invest in projects that strategically impact ministries and people around the world with the good news of Jesus.”
Kevin Crow, Lead Pastor
WHAT KINGDOM BUILDERS WILL DO
Kingdom Builders is an opportunity for us, as a church, to strategically invest in projects that help build God’s Kingdom.
This year ten projects and/or ministries have been selected that have great potential to do just that. This page overviews each project. Please pray over each project as you read.
Our current interest rate is 4.75%; howerver, we are anticipating a potential raise to 5.75% in March. God is faithful and we have been able to reduce the original loan from $2.25 million to $1.7 million. By attacking the prinicple today, we allow the future Harvest Ridge to have the financial freedom to invest in His Kingdom. Every $1 invested now is equal to $4 over the life of the loan.
The old office wing needs to be renovated to serve as classrooms for our children, specifically Girls Ministries, Royal Rangers and Catalyst Kids Small Groups. We have the space, but the current layout does not meet the needs of the ministries. Remodeling the wing will increase our capacity to disciple our children and help them to become life long followers of Jesus.
Harvest Hands meets the 2nd Saturday of the month to pass out bags of groceries. Dine With Us provides a hot meal on the 4th Saturday of the month. These ministries impact 30-60 families on a monthly basis and Kingdom Builders will be able to expand the ministries’ vision and opportunities.
This annual party is thrown as a way of connecting to our community and giving Jesus a good name. With a cost of roughly $20,000, an average of 5,000 people have attended each year since 2008. Our dream is to be able to invest in this outreach and own HarvestPalooza as a church.
Designed with the intent to fund special projects that our “boots on the ground” missionaries are carrying out. Immediate projects we would like to fund: building churches in Madagascar, building a Bible College in Central America, equipping a life skill center on an Indian Reservation and helping fund special projects for our missions trips.
CONVOY OF HOPE
This Compassion Ministry brings immediate relief in disaster situations. They are designed to provide basic life necessities: food, clean water, clothing, temporary shelter, clean up to areas hit by natural disasters. We currently partner with Convoy of Hope via “One Day to Feed the World”. Each December we pledge one day’s wage in order to help feed those without access to life’s most basic needs.
Say Hello inspires Christian women toward relationships with Muslim women through simply saying, “hello”. Say Hello equips and educates Christian women to understand their Muslim women friends, to break down barriers between culture and lifestyle, and through authentic relationship will bring them the life changing power of Jesus. Kingdom Builders will resource Say Hello to create a web-based training program.
Kingdom Builders will help Royal Rangers International reach the first 10,000 kids and teen in the most populous nations of the world (Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh), by translating lessons, training mentors for ongoing discipleship, and to start new Ranger outposts in Southern Asia.
CHINESE ORPHAN SCHOOL
Guangxi Girls Education Fund, (GGEF) provides educational scholarships and emotional support for girls who are orphaned, abandoned by a parent(s), or who are otherwise living in extreme poverty. A one-year scholarship for a girl is $80 (primary), $120 (middle), $325 (high). Beyond tuition the goal is to buld relationship and through counsel and friendship see each girl discover God’s design for them.
PACIFIC RIM FIREBIBLE
“Bringing the fire of God’s Word to the human heart”, the FireBible is a comprehensive study Bible that equips a reader to comprehend passages of scripture through the lens of the Holy Spirit. Kingdom Builders would enable FireBible to fund a project to produce Bibles in a native language to a sensitive country in pacific rim of Asia.
